Private Psychotherapy Practice -1980 to present

In addition to his continuing commitment to direct client care, Dennis has held key leadership positions in several public and private sector organizations.

Private Consulting Therapist - Helped create and develop the first Marin County Child Sexual Abuse Treatment Program. Provided individual, marital and family psychotherapy 1980 to 1982.

Director - County of Marin, Juvenile Probation Department Mental Health Program 1991 - 1998

Division Chief - County of Marin, Community Mental Health 1985 - 1991

Directed all Children Services, Adult Outpatient, Minority and Older Adult Programs.

Director - West Marin Health and Human Services, Pt. Reyes Station 1982 to 1985

Supervised the first CA Multi-Disciplinary Center staffed with Social Services, CMHS and Public Health.

Disaster Mental Health Coordinator - County of Marin CMHS 1987 to 1991

Drug Counseling Coordinator - Tucson General Hospital’s West Center (Rehabilitation Center)

Responsible for supervision and treatment in the heroin and alcohol detoxification programs.
